Founder of WAI Associates Group
Harold started as a life insurance agent with AIA Malaysia in the 1970s at a small agency office in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. In 1976 was promoted to Agency Manager and founded WAI Associates Group the next year. Since then, he has trained and developed over 350 advisors, with over 19 of them becoming agency managers of their own businesses. Due to his outstanding contribution to the industry, Harold was given the AIA Hall of Fame Award from AIA Hong Kong in 2008 of which only less than 20 people in Malaysia have been awarded since its founding in 1948.
Currently, Harold remains active as a Director in the Agency and Company. He plays golf frequently and enjoys driving as his passion and hobby.

In 2018, WAI Advisory was established with a primary goal of delivering expert financial guidance to our clients. Our team consists of certified advisors who possess proficiency in legal, financial, and investment expertise. Currently, the team is under the leadership of Casey, one of the Directors at WAI Associates Group, boasting more than 15 years of experience in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Team Development Manager to lead our sales team, drive our agency's sales initiatives, and take a proactive role in recruiting and onboarding new insurance/financial advisors.
